It was Rihanna’s 24th birthday on Monday, Feb. 20 and she gave enough indications that she and Chris Brown have kissed and made up. Her latest remix of Birthday Cake is a strong indication.
Three years ago, Brown was charged with assaulting his then-girlfriend. Now the duo Rihanna and Chris Brown have teamed up for her “Birthday Cake” remix which is a track of Talk That Talk.
The song ‘Birthday Cake’ is sensually high and it has raised some eyebrows. In the song, Brown croons, “Girl I wanna fuck you right now. Been a long time, I’ve been missing your body. Let me turn the lights down, when I go down it’s a private party. Ooh, it’s not even her birthday but I wanna lick the icing off. Give it to her in the worst way. Can’t wait to blow her candles out.”
Answering that crooning, Rihanna chimes in the song and says, “Remember how you did it, if you still wanna kiss it, then come and get it.”
Recently, the former couple exchanged good wishes on Twitter. Brown wished Robyn, Rihanna’s birth name, a happy birthday. The birthday girl made it official by tweeting, “@chrisbrown Turn up the music remix #RihannaNavy #Teambreezy enjoy!!!” with a link to a remix of Brown’s track, “Turn Up the Music,” on which she is also featured. “Birthday Cake” quickly became the No. 1 trending topic worldwide.
