Madonna Will Perform on Super Bowl!

Looks like Super Bowl is going to get big and bigger!!
Madonna has been confirmed to perform as halftime act at the Super Bowl XLVI, the America’s most-watched TV event.
The announcement was made by Bob Costas, after his weekly essay on NBC’s Sunday Night Football.
With this honor, the diva will join a list of musical all-stars that have recently had the gig, including Prince, U2, Black Eyed Peas, Bruce Springsteen & the E Street Band, and many others.
And according to a joint statement by the NFL and NBC, the station that will air the big game, the 53-year-old singer will get some help on the field by Cirque du Soleil and Jamie King.
The championship match-up takes place Feb. 5 at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis. Last year’s game had a record 111 million people tuning in. Madonna will face a very huge crowd to please.
Following her upcoming performance on Super Bowl, the “Material Girl” singer will be releasing her first album since 2008′s Hard Candy, with the first single likely dropping in February.
