Looks like the star of “New Girl” is on the road to become a Single Girl.

Zooey Deschanel and her husband, “Death Cab for Cutie” singer Ben Gibbard are ending their marriage, as confirmed by Deschanel’s rep.

An insider also added that the couple’s decision to split is mutual and amicable, with the intention to move forward with a divorce.

35-year-old Gibbard and the “(500) Days of Summer” actress wed in 2009 near Seattle. They were latest seen at the Emmys in September, looking happy together.

Deschanel, who is one-half of the pop duo She & Him, is currently starring on “New Girl,” which will be back with a new episode this week after several weeks of hiatus.
