June Diane Raphael Joins “New Girl”

Say hello to another new girl, June Diane Raphael.
The actress has joined the cast of Fox’s latest comedy, “New Girl,” to accompanied Zooey Deschanel.
Raphael will play Sadie, Jess’ (Zooey Deschanel) gynecologist friend. She will first appear in Episode 9, and with the potential to recur on the freshman series.
In the episode, the viewers will see Schmidt (Max Greenfield) stricken with an ailment. He’ll turn to Sadie, who also happens to be a lesbian, who will offer him an unofficial diagnosis.
Raphael had previously appeared on “NTSF:SD:SUV” and “Party Down.” She will soon be seen on the sitcom, as it will return to Fox on Tuesday, Nov. 1.
