Brangelina is definitely a very generous couple!

The “Wanted” actress and her handsome beau have donated $340,000 to the Humanitarian Initiative Just Relief Aid.

The money will go toward healthcare for homeless children in war-torn Somalia, who is experiencing its worst famine in 60 years, which has taken the lives of 29,000 children under the age of five.

Jolie, who was recently recognized for her work as an U.N. Goodwill Ambassador, recently spoke about the profound impact the Somali refugees have had on her personal life.

Early this month, the mother-of-six honored a Yemeni aid group and the U.N. Refugee Agency Awards in Switzerland, while speaking about her ten years of experience with the refugees.

Holding back the tears, Jolie said that she’s grateful to the refugee families that she has the honor and privilege to spend the last years with.

Being a part of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees staff since 2001, Jolie also added that she had learned so much from the refugees.

She emphasized that she had learned to be a better person, a better mother. They had inspired her by showing me the unbreakable strength of the human spirit.

And apparently, from all those lessons, Jolie (and Pitt) also learn to pay it forward, generously. They give such great examples to all of us.
