Poor Reese Witherspoon!
The actress was hit by a car while jogging Wednesday afternoon, and immediately taken to the hospital.
According to Santa Monica police, the car was traveling about 20 miles per hour at the time, and the driver was an 84-year-old woman.
The responsible grandma was cited for failing to yield to a pedestrian in a crosswalk.
Thank God, Witherspoon’s rep said that the “Water for Elephants” star was not seriously injured, and is now resting at home.
Witherspoon, who’s a mother of two, is an Oscar winner for her role as June Carter Cash in “Walk the Line.”
Her upcoming projects include “This Means War,” with Tom Hardy and Chris Pine; and “Mud,” with Matthew McConaughey and Tye Sheridan.
