Eric McCormack Will Star on New Series “Perception”
Eric McCormack is back on the silver screen!
It has been quite a long time since “Will & Grace,” but (hopefully) we will see much more of McCormack through his new series, “Perception.”
As confirmed Wednesday by the show’s network, TNT, production on the new series began this week.
In a release, TNT said that the series will center around McCormack, who plays Dr. Daniel Pierce, “a neuroscientist and professor recruited to help the federal government crack difficult cases.”
Former “She’s All That” actress, Rachael Leigh Cook, will accompanied McCormack as FBI agent Kate Moretti, a former student of Dr. Pierce’s, who brings him on to help with government cases.
It will also has “Reading Rainbow” legend and “Star Trek: The Next Generation” star Levar Burton, who will have a recurring role as Paul Haley, a dean at the university.
Other actors set to star in the series include “The Day After Tomorrow’s” Arjay Smith and “The O.C.’s” Kelly Rowan.
Ten episodes had been ordered, and the upcoming series will hit the air in summer 2012.
Good luck with the new series, Eric!
