Nick Zano Joins “2 Broke Girls”

Nick Zano is about to star on a new series this fall.
The “Cougar Town” actor got himself a recurring role on the new CBS sitcom “2 Broke Girls.”
In the upcoming series, 33-year-old Zano will play a street artist and part-time bartender who goes by the name Jpeg and will serve as a love interest for Max (Kat Dennings).
Dennings and Beth Behrs are the two main characters on the sitcom, broke girls from different backgrounds who end up living and working together.
The 30 minutes-long series was created by Michael Patrick King and Whitney Cummings, and will premiere Monday, Sept. 19 at 9:30/8:30c.
Besides “Cougar Town,” Zano has also appeared on “What I Like About You,” the “Melrose Place” reboot, “Drop Dead Diva,” and starred in “The Final Destination.”
