Eric Dane Had Entered a Rehab Clinic

It was a grey day at Seattle Grace Hospital.
“Grey’s Anatomy” star, Eric Dane has checked himself into rehab in Los Angeles to battle an addiction to painkillers.
As his rep said in a statement, “Actor Eric Dane voluntarily checked himself into a treatment facility to help him get off of pain medication that he was prescribed for a sports injury that he suffered over the recent hiatus. He reports back to work this week. Business as usual.”
Though the news had surfaced only just now, 38-year-old Dane checked himself into a 30-day stint at Los Angeles’ Hills Treatment Center last month.
It was meant as a preventive measure and he is now nearing the end of his time in the program.
This news comes just a few weeks after word leaked that Dane and his actress wife, 39-year-old Rebecca Gayheart were expecting their second child. Their first child is daughter Billie, who is 16 months old.
Meanwhile, production on the new season of Grey’s Anatomy has already started back up, and an ABC rep reported that Dane has already logged his first day on set.
