Wedding bells will soon be heard for Julie Benz!
As confirmed by her rep, the former “Dexter” actress is engaged to her boyfriend of four years, marketing executive Rich Orosco.
38-year-old Orosco popped the question for the “No Ordinary Family” star on Sunday, at a Mexican-fiesta-themed surprise party at their house in Los Angeles.
The engagement ring was a “customized Kwiat cushion-cut diamond and platinum engagement ring—complete with a diamond frame and milgrain edge band.”
Nearly 60 of their closest friends and family – and a Mariachi band! – helped them celebrate their engagement.
Benz said, “The proposal was simple and beautiful – and then I was shocked by the pop-up surprise Mexican fiesta engagement party. It was absolutely perfect.”
No wedding date has yet been announced, but this will be Benz’s second trip down the aisle. She was previously married to actor John Kassir in 1998, but the couple divorced in 2007.
39-year-old Benz is known for her roles as vampire Darla on “Buffy the Vampire Slayer,” and Dexter Morgan’s doomed wife Rita on “Dexter.”
She’s currently starring on “No Ordinary Family,” and can next be seen on “Royal Pains” this summer.
