Indian actress Aishwarya Rai and her actor husband, Abhishek Bachchan will soon become parents!
The news was shared by Bachchan’s father, who’s also a household name in India’s cinema world, Amitabh Bachchan.
He took to Twitter to announce: “I am going to become a grandfather! Aishwarya is expecting! So happy and thrilled!” This will be the first child for the couple.
The 37-year-old “Bride and Prejudice” star wed 35-year-old Bachchan in a private ceremony on April 20, 2007 at the Bachchan residence, Prateeksha, in Juhu, Mumbai.
She was crowned Miss World in 1994 and has often been referred to as “the most beautiful woman in the world.” She has also starred in more than 40 movies, including 2009′s “Pink Panther” with Steve Martin.
