It’s a happy day in the country music world! They are celebrating the love between its prince and princess!
After quite some wait, Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert are now officially husband and wife.
The 27-year-old “House That Built Me” singer wed beau Blake Shelton late Saturday evening at Texas’ Don Strange Ranch.
Lambert walked down the aisle in front of 550 family members and friends, wearing her mother’s wedding dress.
Guests included Katherine Heigl and Josh Kelley, Reba McEntire, Kelly Clarkson, Dierks Bentley, Laura Bell Bundy, Charles Kelly and the Bellamy Brothers.
After the ceremony, the happy bride said, “I’m married to my best friend! Looking forward to a lifetime of laughter.”
While 34-year-old Shelton said, “I wanted to be married to Miranda the day I proposed. Finally, it’s official!”
The award-winning singers have been together for six years. Shelton, who’s now a mentor on talent show “The Voice,” proposed last May in the woods near Lambert’s Tishomingo, Oklahoma, home.
This is the first marriage for Lambert; and the second for Shelton, who was married to Kaynette Williams from 2003-2006.
