American Idol will get Cyrus-ed!

 

Teen star Miley Cyrus is scheduled to make a (not so) surprising appearance on American Idol Wednesday.18-year-old Cyrus will help mentor hopeful Lauren Alaina, who sang Cyrus’ hit “The Climb” two weeks ago for movie week.

The former “Hannah Montana” star won’t be appearing alone, though. She will appear alongside permanent Idol mentor, and Interscope chairman, Jimmy Iovine.

A source reported, the collaboration happened after Iovine invited Cyrus to help, with him remarked that Alaina was a “much stronger singer” than Cyrus on the show.

This won’t be Cyrus’ first time on Idol. She had appeared on Idol last year to help mentor the top 11 finalists during #1 hits week.
