If there’s Nadya Suleman as Octomom, then Mike Tyson could be named Octodad too now!
The boxing champ had joined Suleman and Mel Gibson as octoparents, after he became a father to his eighth child on Tuesday. As confirmed by his rep, 44-year-old Tyson and his wife Lakiha “Kiki” Spicer Tyson had welcomed their second child together, a baby boy.
Tyson’s publicist, Tammy Brook informed that the newborn was named Morocco Elijah Tyson. He was born at Saint Rose Dominican Hospital in Henderson, Nevada, weighed in at 8 lbs., 13 oz., and measured 19 inches in length. Brooks added that “He is such a sweet and calm baby. Mike and Kiki are overwhelmed with joy to welcome their son to the Tyson family.”
The couple wed last summer and have a two-year-old daughter, Milan. The former heavyweight king has fathered eight kids over the years, five other children from previous relationships. In May 2009, Tyson’s 4-year-old daughter Exodus tragically died in an accident at the family’s home. She was Tyson’s daughter with ex-girlfriend Sol Xochitl.
