Christina Aguilera will show her loyalty to her country in front of millions people!
Yes, that’s true, because the “Beautiful” singer will sing the National Anthem at the Super Bowl in Texas on Feb. 6. Not only she will be performing in front of the Cowboys Stadium’s audience, Aguilera is going to sing with more than 153 million people watching.
The NFL and Fox made the announcement Monday, which was considered as an honor for Aguilera. The five-time Grammy winner said that belting “The Star-Spangled Banner” is a big deal for her. In a press release, Aguilera said, “I have been performing the Anthem since I was 7 years old, and I must say the Super Bowl is a dream come true. I am really excited to be part of such an iconic event.”
This is not Aguilera’s first experience at the NFL championship. She was part of the halftime show during the 2000 Super Bowl, and will perform alongside the Black Eyed Peas this year. She will became the latest Surpeise Sepermau Super Bowl too; including Carrie Underwood, Whitney Houston, Garth Brooks, Mariah Carey, Billy Joel and Beyoncé.
The Bridgestone Super Bowl XLV will air on Fox on Feb. 6, while the Pittsburgh Steelers will play the Green Bay Packers at Cowboys Stadium in Arlington, Texas. for the NFL title. Goodl uck for your performance, Christina!
