Lady Gaga’s Concert in Paris Was Called Off

Lady Gaga won’t be singing “Let It Snow, Let It Snow, Let It Snow” this holiday season.
It’s not because of she’s having such low holiday spirit, but because the snow didn’t bring joy and happiness this time, especially for her “little monsters” in French.
The singer’s Sunday concert in Paris has been canceled due to complications arising from a severe snow storm. The bad weather led authorities to ban big trucks from driving through the Ile de France region that includes Paris. This is a second cancellation for Gaga, after in October, the pop diva’s concerts in Paris were postponed amid nationwide strikes over a government plan to raise the retirement age.
The “Poker Face” singer took to Twitter early Sunday morning to vent her frustration. She wrote, “All 28 of my trucks for the Monsterball [tour] were detained by the French government going on over 26 hrs, 2 of my employees were arrested trying to get into Paris so we could perform. “I am furious and devastated, its unfair to my fans and to me,” she added.
And in order not to let her French fans down, she even offered to perform an acoustic version of the show. As she tweeted, “I asked if I could do a stripped version of show, but there would be no sound or power source, its all been detained. I’m so sorry, angry+sad.” The sad news was also confirmed by concert venue Bercy stadium said on its Web site. They informed, a concert Monday is expected to go forward as planned, and the canceled show is likely to be rescheduled for Tuesday.
So, to all Lady Gaga’s French “little monsters,” just be patient! :)
