Looks like Lorena Ball won’t be chasing Bill Compton for his love anymore.
Mariana Klaveno, the actress who played the maker of vampire Bill and always hungry for his love on “True Blood,” had found her true love, as she announced her engagement Wednesday.
After three years of dating, she finally engaged to producer Luis Patino. The announcement came through a tweet, in which Klaveno wrote, “Sorry I’ve been out of touch for a few days — been busy getting engaged!”
Although had appeared as guest star for several series, Klaveno most popular role was as vampire Lorena on the hit HBO vampire drama, with her first appearance was in the fifth episode of season one. She was the vicious vamp who turned Bill Compton into a vampire, and her character became a regular with starring credits in the second half of season two.
From the series, she was nominated with the starring cast for the “Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series” at the 16th Annual Screen Actors Guild awards in January 2010. Then, Klaveno and Stephen Moyer (who plays Bill), were awarded the “Holy Shit Scene” award at the Spike 2010 Scream awards for their scene in season three where Bill turns Lorena’s head around 180 degrees while having sex.
Her character had been killed in the middle of third season, but that didn’t mean she won’t be seen on “True Blood” anymore. But anyway, congrats newlyweds!
