Another wave of splitting couples hits Hollywood, and Jessalyn Gilsig became the wave’s latest tragic victim.

The “Glee” star filed for divorce from her movie producing hubby of five years, Bobby Salomon, citing irreconcilable differences. Gilsig’s publicist, Craig Schneider confirmed the news, saying, “They are separated and have filed for divorce quite amicably.”

Following Laura Dern, Courteney Cox, and Christina Aguilera, Gilsig’s name has just been added to the “Splitsville” list, although the documents were actually filed by the 39-year-old in Los Angeles County Superior Court last month.

Even worse, according to court papers, the duo have been separated for over a year. It also stated that Gilsig and Soloman “intend to enter into a marital settlement agreement that will divide all community assets and obligations.” In addition, “the issues of child custody, visitation, and support will be addressed in the parties’ marital settlement agreement.”

The actress, who plays Will Schuester’s (Matthew Morrison) bitter ex-wife Terri on the FOX popular musical dramedy, met Salomon in high school. They tied the knot in 2006 and have a 4-year-old daughter, Penelope.

Besides “Glee,” Gilsig’s other notable TV credits include “Boston Public,” “NYPD Blue,” “Friday Night Lights” and “Heroes.” While her movie credits include “Prom Night” and “The Stepfather.”

Best wishes, both! be strong!
