It’s the end of the road for Miley Cyrus and Liam Hemsworth.

After more than a year of dating, the young Hollywood couple has called it quits, as confirmed by Hemsworth’s rep. No official confirmation from the “Hannah Montana” star, though.

It’s unclear what was the reason of their split, but rumors said that distance between them and both being busy with work are among those responsible for the split. “Ever since she left for Detroit, Miley has been super focused on her work,” dishes an insider close to the former couple. “Liam wanted more, but she’s 17 and has other priorities right now. He’s been a distraction.”

The 17-year-old singer/actress and 20-year-old Hemsworth started dating after meeting on the set of “The Last Song.” The two played young lovers in the drama movie, that was based on the novel by Nicholas Sparks. Before Hemsworth, Cyrus dated model Justin Gaston and Nick Jonas. Cyrus is currently shooting the independent drama LOL: Laughing Out Loud with Demi Moore.
