Big news for all Rihanna fans!

Be prepared guys and gals, the Barbados-born singer will soon added movie star to her CV! As reported by several media outlets, 22-year-old Rihanna has signed on to make her feature-film debut in “Battleship.”

Her appearances on video clips, and performing several skits of “Saturday Night Live” are her only acting experience so far. Therefore, the action flick that was said inspired by the classic Hasbro board game will be her first (and big screen) experience. Hopefully, it won’t be her last.

The “Stupid in Love” singer will act alongside “Friday Night Lights” hunk Taylor Kitsch and “True Blood” hottie Alexander Skarsgård, as brothers who end up leading the fight for their planet’s survival against an otherworldly force. Peter Berg is attached to direct the movie that was planned to be released May 25, 2012.
