Last weekend was definitely a great one for Mena Suvari. The actress is now a married woman!

As confirmed by her rep, the 31-year-old American Beauty star tied the knot Saturday with 25-year-old music producer Simone Sestito in Vatican City, Italy.

Suvari once said in an interview that she planned her wedding to be romantic and like a fairy-tale wedding. She also hoping to sport a gown designed by a famous fashionista friend. So then, just like she said, Suvari wore a gown by Stacey Bendet, owner of Alice + Olivia and a close friend

The newlyweds began dating after meeting in September 2007 at the Toronto International Film Festival. Sestito proposed to Suvari during a trip to Jamaica in summer 2008. “He got down his knees,” shared the happy bride-to-be. “It was very romantic.”

This is the first time for Sestito, and a second marriage for Suvari, who tied the knot with cinematographer Robert Brinkmann in March 2000, at the age of 21. The couple split in 2005 citing irreconcilable differences.

Hopefully, this will be their last marriage together. Congrats both!
