Lea Michele to Voice “Dorothy of Oz”
Lea Michele spreads her wings from the small screen, to the big screen.
Glee’s own Rachel Berry will lend her voice in the upcoming 3-D musical Dorothy of Oz, which picks up the action the day after Dorothy Gale’s original trip to Oz, where she must return in search of the missing Tin Man, Scarecrow and Lion.
23-year-old Michele will join the all-star cast, which already has names such as; Kelsey Grammer, Dan Akroyd, Martin Short, Jim Belushi, Hugh Dancy, Patrick Stewart, and Oliver Platt. Canadian musician Bryan Adams is working on the music.
This will be Michele’s first experience, vocally or otherwise, onto the big screen. It’s another great news for Michele, after a few days earlier she was nominated for best TV actress in a comedy at this year’s Teen Choice Award.
We’re excited to see you as Dorothy, Lea!
