Apparently for Pamela Anderson, dancing is not as easy as walking on the beach.

Her Monday night’s dance was the last dance for the former Baywatch star, as she was eliminated from television’s “Dancing With the Stars” competition last night, leaving just five celebrities in the running for the finale.

Along the season, 42-year-old Anderson had finished in the bottom two several times despite mostly good reviews from the judges for her dedicated performances and convincing characterization. But sadly this week, she received the lowest votes from the public for her fairy-tale waltz with professional partner Damian Andrews.

On Monday’s episode, the judges appreciated her waltz by giving it a score of 24 out of 30. But the almost 20 million viewers for ABC hit show never seemed to take to her, despite performances on the show in which she emulated other famous blondes including Marilyn Monroe and Dolly Parton. Therefore resulting in her departure.

After learning that her road had hit the end, the mother-of-two said, “This has been one of the best experiences of my life — and that says a lot. I’ve had a lot of good experiences.” She thanked her partner and said she wishes her fellow dancers well. “I love everybody here,” she added.

Anderson also said that learning to dance allowed her to focus in a way she hadn’t before. “I’m really proud of the effort I’ve put into it,” she said. “I’ve never been able to apply myself in this kind of way. This is a dream come true.” Meanwhile, Whitewood said working with Anderson was something of a dream come true as well. “You’ve been an amazing person to work with and so dedicated to learning how to dance,” he said, thanking her.

Anderson, along with eliminated contestants astronaut Buzz Aldrin and TV reality mother of eight Kate Gosselin, has helped the 10th season of “Dancing With the Stars” to its biggest audiences ever. The remaining five celebrities are; Pussycat Dolls singer and favorite Nicole Scherzinger, Olympic ice skater Evan Lysacek, Andrews, actress and “Clean House” host Niecy Nash and footballer Chad Ochocinco.

The remaining contestants will each perform two dances on Monday. The entire spring cast is expected to perform on the season’s final episodes, May 24 and 25.

Bye-bye, Pam… keep on dancing!
