Another news about guest-starring gig, Jamie Kennedy is following Rob Lowe’s footsteps. But they’re not guest-starring on the same series, though.

The 39-year-old comedian/actor, who recently broke up with his Ghost Whisperer co-star Jennifer Love-Hewitt, will guest-star on an episode of Syfy’s Eureka. He will appear in the series playing the role of Dr. Ramsey, the creator of a technology that threatens to incinerate the town of Eureka. Kennedy’s episode is slated to be aired in July.

Besides Lowe and Kennedy, other actors -apparently- will also take some guest-star roles. Jaime Ray Newman, Matt Frewer and Wil Wheaton will all guest-starring in Season 4, which debuts on Friday, July 9 on Syfy. We’re not complaining about shows that crowded with guest stars, keep ‘em coming!

Kennedy had previously known from his roles on Scream, The Cleveland Show, and- of course- Ghost Whisperer. Are you excited to see him in Eureka?
