Post Brothers & Sisters, Rob Lowe is heading to Californication!

The 46-year-old actor will be another gorgeous face to see in the show, alongside main star David Duchovny. Announced on Monday by the show’s network, Showtime, Lowe will guest-star in Season 4 of Californication, playing as Eddie Nero.

Lowe’s character is a self-obsessed, award-winning movie star who is in contention to play the film version of Duchovny’s character, Hank. He is slated to appear in one episode, but could possibly recur. Ah, that’s a promising possibility we love to hear!

The Virginia-born actor is best known for his roles on The West Wing and Brothers & Sisters. About a month ago, Lowe announced that he was leaving Brothers & Sisters, and soon after joined to the cast of sitcom Parks and Recreation, along with Party Down star Adam Scott.
