Probably for Lindsay Lohan, her father Michael Lohan had just stepping up another level of annoying.
On Thursday, Lindsay Lohan’s estranged father, Michael Lohan went to the Los Angeles home of the Mean Girls actress to check on the welfare of her younger sister, 16-year-old Ali Lohan. Not alone, Michael was accompanied by by several officers from the West Hollywood Sheriff’s Department.
According to a statement from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, the act was prompted by Michael’s call to the West Hollywood sheriff’s station about 11:30 a.m., saying he was concerned about his younger daughter. Because Ali was with her sister at the time of the call, deputies following up the call by making a ‘house check’. Lindsay was reportedly “very cooperative” and allowed officers in. Both Lindsay and Ali spoke with the officers, who determined Ali was not in danger.
Lindsay tweeted her frustration about the incident, just after 11:30 AM, writing, “OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i have no choice but to make this public, due to my sister’s safety, as well as my own, “my ex-dad” just WALKED INTO MY APT like the devil’s advocate with officers….”
The 23-year-old continued, “my lawyer isn’t answering I NEED A RESTRAINING ORDER! MY SISTER AND FRIEND TOO!!!!! HE’S NUTS!!! my BUILDING didn’t STOP him, isn’t it supposed to be safe? THAT’S WHY I MOVED HERE! it coulda been FAKE cops! dressed up… let’s not forget, that my father KIDNAPPED me from a COURT ROOM when i was 4 years old and is CRAZY.”
“When will it ever end?” she wrote. “It’s been going on my whole life with him — hasn’t he caused enough pain?”
Following the morning ‘intervention’, Michael spoke with the media and revealed that he was worried about Ali after hearing she drove home “at 115 miles an hour” from the Coachella music festival this weekend with Lindsay. As he explained, “I went to the police department concerned about Ali’s welfare. I wanted to check on Ali. I want to make sure she’s OK. She’s 16 and she doesn’t belong there! She’s a minor. I just want to make sure she’s ok.”
Michael also tweeted back in response to his daughter’s tweets, “Lindsay can twitter all she wants. This is about Ali and her welfare. Ali is 16 and Dina has no right allowing Ali to be in such elements.” He even said that he would be petitioning Child Protective Services to help. Meanwhile Lindsay’s mother, Dina Lohan didn’t want just standing by. She released a statement saying, “My ex is completely insane. My daughters are seeking a Protective Order and they are scared to death.”
Dina thinks Michael is ‘dangerous’. And added, “He has absolutely no rights to do this! He’s a three-time felon.” Oh, such a great bonding among family members, don’t you think?
