Chris Brown Will Host a Haiti Benefit Concert
Chris Brown (N/A)
It’s still a long way for Chris Brown to rehabilitate his image, but so far, he’s doing pretty good.
According to his website, the Forever singer will do another good deed next month, by headlining and agreed to be the host for a Haiti benefit concert in Virginia.
The concert, “Virginia Stand Up! A Call to Action” will be held May 15 at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond. It will feature performances by T-Pain, Keri Hilson, Trey Songz, Mario and Ryan Leslie. Brown will host and close out the show. More artists are expected to be added to the list in the coming days.
About the upcoming event, 20-year-old Brown said in a statement Monday, saying “I wanted to find a way to contribute personally to the ongoing Haitian relief effort and also support an organization that helps people in need in my home state. Everyone has to do their part.”
Tickets are on sale now on LiveNation’s website, with proceeds will go toward the Red Cross’ Haitian relief efforts and the Central Virginia Foodbank.
Good luck with the concert, Chris!
