Something precious has come to the arms of Robin Thicke and Paula Patton. The couple are blessed with the birth of their first child, a son.

The son was delivered Tuesday in Los Angeles, and was named Julian Fuego. A rep for the couple released a statement, saying that “Mother, father and son are all doing well.”

33-year-old Thicke actually had a gig with Alicia Keys at the Staples Center on the same day, but he canceled it in order to be by his wife’s side for the big moment. His tour mate proudly announced the news to cheering fans.

The R&B singer had released his fourth album, Sex Therapy, on December 2009. The first single of the album, which has the same title as the album, had received warm welcome. He also had quite a success with single Somebody to Love, a collaboration with Gossip Girl star, Leighton Meester.

Meanwhile, 34-year-old Patton is an actress and had appeared in several movies, such as Idlewild and Déjà Vu. She is most-recently known for her role as a teacher in Precious, alongside Gabourey Sidibe, Mo’Nique and Mariah Carey.
