A sad split coming from Hollywood. Jim Carrey and Jenny McCarthy have decided to go separate ways.

The two actors each tweeted Tuesday that they have ended their relationship after five years. The Yes Man actor tweeted first, “Jenny and I have just ended our 5yr relationship. I’m grateful 4 the many blessings we’ve shared and I wish her the very best! S’okay! ?;^>”

37-year-old McCarthy was equally amicable, writing, “I’m so grateful for the years Jim and I had together. I will stay committed to Jane (Carrey’s adult daughter) and will always keep Jim as a leading man in my heart.”

Both publicists had confirmed the split, with Carrey’s publicist, Marleah Leslie confirmed in a statement, saying, “Jim and Jenny have recently decided to end their five year relationship. They are grateful for the many blessings they have shared and wish each other the very best.”

It’s a bit shocking for many, since the pair was seen so strong together, since they started dating in 2005. But anyhow…, we at StarsJournal are wishing you both the best!
