Angelina Jolie is not stopping with good deeds!

The actress who’s also the UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador made another philanthropy act, by giving a donation to build a school in Tangi, Afghanistan.

In a statement released by the UNHCR, the school is a result from Jolie’s 2008 visit to a refugee settlement in Afghanistan’s eastern Nangarhar province, where she donated $75,000 toward the school’s construction. At that time, most of the refugees shared their concerns about a lack of educational facilities in the area. That’s why she donated a quite generous amount of money to help eliminate the problems.

Right now, a new primary school for girls in Tangi, Afghanistan is ready to welcome 800 students. The facility features eight classrooms, four administrative buildings, a well and eight latrines. The building will be inaugurated on Thursday, and classes start next Monday.

The UNHCR is working with UNICEF to recruit teachers and textbooks. Plans are also under way to provide secondary education, as only two Tangi girls are currently enrolled in high school.

Another thumbs up for you, Angelina, great job!
