Happy news coming from Mario Lopez. The actor/presenter will soon enter the world of fatherhood!

On Wednesday, the Extra host confirmed that that he’s expecting his first child with his girlfriend, Broadway dancer Courtney Laine Mazza. The future baby is expected to be born in the fall.

In a statement, the couple said, “We’re very happy. Courtney and I couldn’t be more excited. I’ve waited my whole life to be a dad, this is a true blessing. I am looking forward to sharing this experience with my family and my family at Extra.”

36-year-old Lopez and 28-year-old Mazza met on the set of the Broadway revival of A Chorus Line in 2008, when the former Saved by the Bell star was filling the role of choreographer/grand inquisitor Zach.

Lopez was once married to actress Ali Landry, but their marriage lasted barely seven weeks before being annulled. Before Mazza, he was famously romanced dancer Karina Smirnoff after his second-place appearance on Dancing With the Stars.
