Justin Timberlake Reunited with Cameron Diaz in Bad Teacher
Although Justin Timberlake is no longer romantically involved with Cameron Diaz, that doesn’t mean the former couple couldn’t be together. Well…, at least in a movie.
The singer-actor will be reunited with his ex-girlfriend in comedy movie Bad Teacher, after Timberlake successfully cast as the male lead role.
In the movie that will be directed by Jake Kasdan, Cameron will have the role of a foul-mouthed, gold-digging junior high school teacher who goes after a colleague’s boyfriend (Timberlake) after being dumped. They will be joined by other funny people, such as How I Met Your Mother‘s Jason Segel, Lucy Punch, Molly Shannon and Modern Family‘s Eric Stonestreet.
About the amazing cast, Doug Belgrad, co-president of Columbia Pictures said in a statement, “With Justin, Molly and Eric, joining Cameron, Jason, Lucy and the rest of this dream comedy cast, we couldn’t be more excited about this movie.” Bad Teacher will start filming this month in Los Angeles.
In the last few years, 29-year-old Timberlake has developed a pretty good career in the acting world. Before this new project, he had reunited with Diaz before, when they were both signed on 2007′s animation Shrek the Third. Diaz was reprising her voice role as Princess Fiona, while Timberlake had the role of Arthur ‘Artie’ Pendragon.
The former member of boyband ‘N Sync had also appeared in other movies, including: Alpha Dog, Edison, and Black Snake Moan. He will also be seen on October in David Fincher’s The Social Network, a film about the rise of Facebook.
