Do you miss Michael Chiklis? Well here’s a good news, the actor will soon could be seen in another tv series!

Chiklis, who was popularly known for his role as a supercop in The Shield, will star in the ABC drama pilot No Ordinary Family. The series centers on an American family whose members have special abilities, with Chiklis got the role of the father.

It is actually pretty similar to the superhero role he once played in Fantastic Four movie, although in this upcoming series, Chiklis won’t have to be ‘The Thing’, who was built from rocks and bricks.

The new project was written by Greg Berlanti and Jon Feldman; who previously have worked together on ABC’s Dirty Sexy Money. Not only in this particular show, Chiklis was reportedly in demand this pilot season, fielding multiple offers both on the drama and comedy side.
