That’s a pretty good lesson for us, as people whose life surrounded by the internet, coming with a package of stories, whether it’s true or not. Johnny Depp is the latest ‘victim’ of online hoax, after being reported died several days ago.

Reports were swirling the Internet on Monday, saying that Depp has died over the weekend in France, following an accident. Thank God, it was only a rumor. the actor’s rep, Robin Baum confirmed that 46-year-old Depp is still very much alive.

Baum claimed they were horrible rumors, and called the hoax were the work of an irresponsible and unconscionable person, especially since children and families are involved. Before Depp, several famous person had also been the subject of a death online hoax. Akon, Eminem, Tom Cruise, and Paula Abdul were among them who had been reported died.

Hopefully, stories like this will only made the ‘victim’ live longer. Amen!
