Lady Gaga canceled a sold-out performance at Purdue University in West Lafayette, Indiana on Thursday night due to exhaustion. But she recovered quite fast. She sang medley of her hits in The Oprah Winfrey Show on Friday.

The pop singer canceled her performance after experiencing a breathing difficulty and an increased heartbeat. The medical personnel advised her not to perform. The show was discontinued after opening acts.

Furthermore, the Atlantic City show on Saturday and the Wallingford, Connecticut on Sunday were also canceled.

Lady Gaga then sent out an apology message to her fans via Twitter, “I’ve been crying for hours, I feel like I let my fans down 2nite. An hour before the show, I was feeling dizzy and having trouble breathing.”

“I hope you can forgive me. I love my little monsters more than anything, you are everything to me.”

Her fans responded by tweeting get-well wishes packed in a #getwellgaga hashtag. Their wishes came true. Lady Gaga recovered quite fast.

The Purdue concert is rescheduled for January 26th. While concert promoter Live Nation stated that ticket holders for the weekend shows will get their money back 100%.
