More than $1 Million of Usher’s Belongings Got Stolen!
Usher (msn.com)
Usher had a bad luck. Big bad luck.
More than $1 million worth of jewelry, furs, electronics and other possessions were stolen from the R&B singer’s SUV while it was parked near an Atlanta mall on Dec. 14.
The news was reported Monday by Atlanta’s FOX 5 News, and being confirmed by the Atlanta police. According to the police report, the Confessions singer was returning from the airport on Dec. 14 when he and a companion stopped at an AT&T Store in an upscale shopping area in the Buckhead neighborhood.
Then a witness said to the police, a burgundy Chevy Impala with tinted windows pulled up next to his GMC Yukon. A man in his early twenties got out of the Impala, broke open one of the Yukon’s doors and made off with the goods. Over a million dollars worth of jewelry, $50,000 in furs and clothing and about $20,000 in cash were snatched.
A source said that the 31-year-old singer was particularly concerned about two laptops that were stolen because they contained a few never-before-heard tunes that he’s been working on. The incident is currently under investigation.
Hopefully the thieves will get caught. We’re sorry for your loss, Usher!
