Just like what happens in the circuit, unfortunately the relationship between Pussycat Dolls singer, Nicole Scherzinger, and her boyfriend, Formula One star Lewis Hamilton hit the finish line.

The couple have split after dating for more than two years, as announced in a joint statement released Monday. The statement said, “Nicole Scherzinger and Lewis Hamilton can confirm that they have decided to go their separate ways. The two of them have decided to focus fully on their careers and will remain close friends.”

The 25-year-old McLaren driver and 31-year-old Baby Love singer started dating after meeting at the MTV Europe Awards in Munich in November 2007. Too bad, their relationship couldn’t last any longer.
