Apparently, 2010 is a year that was opened with many engagements among the Hollywood stars.

Following the engagement news of Katy Perry and Russell Brand, CSI: Miami star, Eva La Rue reportedly got engaged too during a vacation in Bora Bora. Hmm… has India and Bora Bora become the new romantic place to propose?

Anyway, the news was confirmed Tuesday by La Rue herself, when she attended the Palm Springs Film Festival. A very happy La Rue said, “I just got engaged!” while flashing her ring, a 4-carat cushion cut diamond center stone with small pink side stones and a diamond-studded band.

43-year-old La Rue said the engagement happened last week. Her now fiance Joe Cappucino proposed to her with a romantic set. “It was a table for two on the beach by the water, we had a private dinner… I knew he was going to do it, I just didn’t know when he was going to do it,” she said.

La Rue also shared that they’re already planning for the wedding, set in the next six months. Further more, the actress hinted that maybe Thailand will be their wedding destination.

Well, we’re sure the wedding will be awesomely exotic. Congrats to the future bride and groom!
