Fans of Katy Perry and Russell Brand, get ready to be heartbroken!

According to Us Weekly, the cute couple were engaged five days ago. 34-year-old Brand reportedly proposed to the 25-year-old American singer with a ring.

They have been on holiday together in India, and busy Tweeting pictures of their trip. Some of the shots posted were monkeys, Katy’s henna tattoo and a cute shot of the couple in front of the Taj Mahal.

After meeting at the MTV Video Music Awards in which hosted by the British comedian, Perry and Brand are immediately connected. Just last month, Brand told Britain’s GMTV host Lorraine Kelly that he was head over heels for Katy.

Brand excitedly responded about the relationship he’s having with the Mannequin singer, “I’m ever so happy. It’s really nice and relaxing to not always be thinking.”

And when asked about the possibility about a wedding in the future, he said with a smile, “I don’t know. Get married you say? That would be good.” He also added, “I do want to have children. That would be good.”

The news haven’t been confirmed by both reps for the “Waking Up In Vegas” singer and the British funnyman, but we’ll be happy for them if it’s true!
