Watch out, housewives, Julie Benz is migrating from Miami to Wisteria Lane.

Although Benz’s role, Rita, is being killed off in the Season 5 finale of Dexter last month, it’s not the end for the 37-year-old beauty.

Benz will be joining the cast of Desperate Housewives, playing the role of Debbie, a stripper with a Master’s degree who is offered an opportunity to take her career in a different direction in Wisteria Lane by Susan (Teri Hatcher).

Her recurring role will last for a minimum of three episodes, with the first one will air in February. Ready to see Rita back as Debbie? don’t forget to mark your calendar, people!
