Apparently, there won’t be ‘The Taylors’ after all.

Country darling, Taylor Swift, and New Moon star, Taylor Lautner reportedly have split after three months of dating. A source close to 20-year-old Swift said about the separation, “It wasn’t really developing into anything, and wasn’t going to, so they decided they were better as friends. There was no chemistry.”

Swift and 17-year-old Lautner met in the fall on the set of the upcoming film Valentine’s Day. And in recent months, the duo had been spotted out and about together; getting frozen yogurt, at a hockey game, at her concerts, and even shared several kisses, but no official confirmation whether they are dating or not.

It was said that the relationship took its toll when Lautner flew to Nashville for Swift’s birthday party on December 13. According to the source, “He liked her more than she liked him. He went everywhere he could to see her, but she didn’t travel much to see him.” Awww…, it’s so not fair. why did you do that to him, miss Taylor?

But contrary to the break-up between Swift and Joe Jonas in 2008, in which Jonas was rumored have dumped the country cutie via voicemail, the source informed that the two Taylors plan to stay friends.
