True Blood won’t stop adding the awesome-ness (and gorgeous-ness) on their cast. The series just added one more good looking guy, only to make you want to watch the series even more.
The show’s network, HBO, had confirmed that Joe Manganiello will be one of the new faces on the drama’s third season. He’s following the footsteps of Marshall Allman, Shannon Lucio, Theo Alexander, Grant Bowler and the latest, Alfre Woodard.
Manganiello has been cast as Alcide Herveaux, the new werewolf in town who will be a new love interest for Sookie Stackhouse. Not only Sookie is in a relationship with vampire Bill, and being loved by vampire Eric, she will be loved by a hot werewolf too? Gosh, I’m so envy!
If you remember the closing moments of Season 2, Bill was kidnapped after proposing to Sookie, and it will lead Sookie to search for her lover when the show returns. So if executive producer Alan Ball sticks to the novel’s plotline, Alcide is the werewolf who will be on the hunt with Sookie on Eric’s request.
Manganiello had previously appeared on One Tree Hill playing a bartender dating Brooke (Sophia Bush), and had guest starred on How I Met Your Mother.
