Audrey Hepburn’s Dress Sold for Nearly 100,000 Dollars

Talking about expensive dress, one of Audrey Hepburn’s dresses is definitely in the category.
As we reported earlier this month, an auction will be held to sale the late actress’s dresses. Apparently, the auction went very well. About 40 items from Hepburn’s wardrobe were sold, and one of them was sold at a very good price.
The black cocktail dress worn by the actress in the movie How to Steal a Million, has sold for nearly $100,000 at auction. The organizer, Kerry Taylor Auctions said the Chantilly lace dress sold to an anonymous bidder for 60,000 pounds (about $97,700). Wow!
It was one of the highest priced items from Hepburn’s collection that were sold off by her friend Tanja Star-Busmann. The auctioneer said Tuesday’s sale made a total of 268,320 pounds. It also added that half of the net proceeds will go to The Audrey Hepburn Children’s Fund.
