Another case of home burglaries among the rich and famous. This time, Nicky Hilton is the unlucky one.

The clothing designer’s Los Angeles home had been robbed Tuesday. LAPD Officer, Gregory Baek said that the police were called Tuesday afternoon and arrived at her house around 3:27 p.m. They were told that some unidentified items were missing from the home, but had no further details. Police are now still investigating.

Minutes before at 3:15 p.m., Nicky’s older sister, Paris Hilton, tweeted about the unfortunate event, “It’s unbelievable how my sister called the cops over an hour ago and they still haven’t shown up. Her house just got robbed, so messed up :(” But several minutes later, she updated, “The cops finally just got to Nicky’s house. She thought her cats escaped in the robbery but she just found them under the bed. Thank God.”

Nicky Hilton’s rep couldn’t immediately be reached for comment. But for now, Paris has stated her feelings through twitter, “I HATE people who steal! It’s so wrong! I hope they catch whoever did this! There has been so many robberies lately. So scary! :( ”

Paris must have known how her sister feel very well. She’s also a victim of robbery not so long ago. She and other celebrities such as Lindsay Lohan, Orlando Bloom and Megan Fox were those whose homes have been burglarized in recent months. Four people have pleaded not guilty to charges involving the theft of $3 million in jewelry, designer clothers and other items.

We’re sorry for your loss, Nicky. Hopefully the robber will be caught soon!
