Looks like the first family will have a special guest to celebrate the holiday season with!

The queen of daytime, Oprah Winfrey, will coming over to the White House and interview the president of the United States, Barack Obama, during an ABC holiday special.

As announced by the network, Christmas at the White House: An Oprah Primetime Special, will air Sunday, December 13, at 10 p.m. The one-hour program will feature an interview with the president, a conversation with the first couple and a tour of the White House. Not only that, the special show also will go behind the scenes as staffers prepare the White House for the holiday season.

This will be Winfrey’s first interview with President Barack Obama since he took office in January. During the 2008 presidential election, Winfrey, who had never before endorsed a presidential candidate, was vocal in her support for Obama and made a number of campaign stops to rally support for him.

The 55-year-old talkshow host attended Obama’s victory rally in Chicago last November and the president’s inauguration in January but has not been politically involved since the election. On the other side, she recently interviewed former Alaska governor and Obama rival Sarah Palin.

The holiday special could be one of Winfrey’s greatest and memorable interviews, since she recently announced to end her syndicated talk show in 2011 and focus on launching her cable network, OWN (Oprah Winfrey Network).

Have a great interview Oprah, and Happy Holidays!
