Looks like Usher’s fans won’t be getting his new album this year. But maybe, it could be a nice present for the new year!

According to a spokesperson at the singer’s label, Jive Label Group, the release date for his new album that will be titled Raymond v. Raymond, has been changed. The latest album was actually had December 21 as the release date, but has been changed to an undetermine future date.

The spokesperson said that the date change is designed to give the album the proper setup time that it deserves. The spokesperson also added, “This is a solid album that we believe in. We want to give it a proper launch.”

Usher has had some awesome figures from the sale of his albums. The recently-divorced hunk sold 1.2 million units of his last album, 2008′s Here I Stand. His biggest-selling album to date is 2004′s Confessions, whose total stands at 9.7 million units. For the time being, the album’s lead single entitled Papers, holds the No. 2 post on the current Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart.
