Shocking news coming from Twitter world!

Teen superstar, Miley Cyrus has quit the most popular micro-blogging site yesterday, leaving her fans puzzled (and probably devastated) over her abrupt exit. The 16-year-old singer has deleted her Twitter page, after posting her last tweet: “FYI Liam doesn’t have a twitter and he wants ME to delete mine with good reason.”

Liam that was mentioned in the tweet is Australian actor Liam Hemsworth, Miley’s new boyfriend and co-star in upcoming movie, The Last Song. Publicists for Cyrus didn’t immediately return requests for comment Thursday.

With 2,119,677 followers that Cyrus’s Twitter had, after her account vanished, fans of Cyrus have organized #mileycomeback on Twitter, making it one of the trending topics on the site Thursday.
