Madonna is one hell of a singer, and she’s a record breaker too!

According to data released by concert promoter Live Nation Inc on Wednesday, the diva breaks another record, which coincidentally, smashed her own record for top-grossing tour by a solo artist.

Her Sticky & Sweet world tour had been wrapped in Israel on Wednesday, pulled in $408 million after playing to more than 3.5 million fans at 85 shows. If compared to the previous record that was set in 2006, her Confessions tour grossed $194 million from 1.2 million fans at 60 shows.

But A Live Nation spokesman said the previous trek featured many arena stops, while the latest one was centered on bigger stadiums. Hmm… maybe for a reference in the future, the Material Girl singer actually had to play more shows in bigger venues. Well at least, for the record’s sake.

Meanwhile, her latest CD, which titled Celebration, will be released on September 28 with video compilations too. It will mark (and also ended) her 27-year relationship with Warner Music Group Corp. She will begin her 10-year deal that she has signed back in 2007 with Live Nation; covering recording, merchandising and touring.
