Whitney Houston’s New Album is Climbing to the Top
Whitney Houston (n/a)
Just like she never left, Whitney Houston is back on top!
Although she has experienced a couple of setbacks, but Whitney Houston is coming back strong, and her comeback album is a proof of her power. The diva’s latest album, I Look To You, is expected to sell upward of 200,000 copies during the week ended September 6, which should easily enable it to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 chart when rankings are released next Wednesday. It’s her first album in seven years, and apparently, the long-awaited album is not disappointing!
The news is a joyful one, since she hit a common hurdle on Tuesday, when she struggled with her voice during her much-hyped comeback performance on ABC’s Good Morning America.
46-year-old Houston apologized for her voice during the performance for 5,000 concert-goers at Central Park’s Rumsey Playfield, explaining, “I’m sorry. I did ‘Oprah.’ I’ve been talking so long … I talked so much, my voice. I shouldn’t be talking, I should be singing.” She sang three songs in the show; Million Dollar Bill, I Look to You, and I’m Every Woman.
More and more rehearsals should fix the problem, right? Congrats Whitney, welcome back!!
