Apparently, no more Oasis for Noel Gallagher.

Frontman and guitarist Noel Gallagher posted a letter on the band’s web site Saturday, saying that he decided to leave the band that he build since early 90s.

Beside apologized for having to cancel European concerts, 42-year-old Gallagher explained his departure from the band, saying that “the level of verbal and violent intimidation towards me, my family, friends and comrades has become intolerable.” He did not described in details about the intimidation, and doesn’t specify who was responsible.

Although it has been known to the public that he does not get along with his younger brother and bandmate Liam Gallagher, but Noel doesn’t directly write or allege about the band’s frontman as the person behind his resignation. Fans could only guessed, since Noel once said in a statement that he couldn’t work with Liam “a day longer,” and also said that Liam was the one who had forced his decision to quit.

It a big loss for Oasis, and definitely an even greater loss for the British band’s fans. We’ll miss you, Noel.
